Week of April 2, 2012

Aloha I’d like to introduce everyone to “my Blog” written by The Yacht Jayhawk:

I will make regular posts on my new website sharing some stories and experience of a random opportunities enjoyed by my guests. In the next week or so you will be able to find regular posts on my new Facebook page and for now you can follow my adventures with one of my networking partners, @adventurequinn on Twitter.

This week has been another Legendary series of Adventures on board, Tuesday i found myself off the coast of South Maui standing by for a wonderful family, some of whom were visiting Maui for the first time. It was certainly my pleasure to welcome them aboard and show off our crystal clear waters as well as a spectacular 10 animal competitive group of Humpback Whales challenging one another for the favor of the female in their group. Their course took us South from Wailea towards Molokini Crater. They seemed to really enjoy the show on the surface, if they could have only seen what i saw below my hull as the group swam along side and beneath me after Captain Steve shut my engines down to allow our guests to (hear) the whales as they approached my 50′ waterline.

I sure hope this egoists come back to join me some day so we can catch them a nice meal.

Yesterday, i took some old friends out for a little holoholo down to Olowalu – check out the image (right) and the YouTube link below for a better impression of some fun we enjoyed. The waters are beginning to warm and the trades are returning, can’t wait for summer and the adventures we have planned.

Stay tuned for more excerpts from my deck - The Yacht Jayhawk
