As our season draws towards a close I am reflecting on our epic season with these incredible creatures! We have been so fortunate to be present for some of the most intense displays of surface activity seen in years… hosting photo legends such as Flip Nicklin, David Fleetham and Marty Snyderman; This little gem is courtesy of David whose work can be found at www.DavidFleetham.com.

]]> On February 15th a select few joined The Jayhawk Crew for a wonderful whale watch / photo excursion with world renowned, National Geographic photographer Flip Nicklin.

Were were blessed with an extraordinary show, one that Dr. Dan Salden would have been proud – Sadly we lost Dr. Dan last summer and this years Whale Tales was in part a tribute to his memory. Having enjoyed the privilege of working with Dr. Dan for a decade, I was especially happy to have been able to offer Jayhawk to help Whale Trust in some small way… We can all do our part, you just have to want to help.
