We have been out sporadically in the past week or so but nearly every time the Captain and I have left the harbor we have had a nibble! As the image to the right shows our Pres, Adam Quinn with a Mahi-Mahi sometimes the nibble stays put!
June is really shaping up nicely too… we just signed a new contract that i’ll be able to brag about in a few days, but suffice to say we might be taking residence on the water a bit more frequently in the coming weeks and months – I for one will be far more happy to stretch the ole pistons and see a few more sights than Slip 63. A great berth slip 63, it has been very good to me, the Captain and crew over the years but i hear we are due for an upgrade, so it will be nice to get out and about for the next few months while the work is being done in the harbor.
Keep your fingers crossed that the catch remains ON for the summer and into the fall and i’ll keep com in’ back with more stories from my decks!
fair winds and following seas, The Yacht Jayhawk
